Hello,

I failed to find out ; does it exist some documentation about the mission files structure ?

Just to save time by not generating big missions containing everything.... :book:

Thank you.

Your Q. points to two things. "File Structure" is Programing Language. Your inquiry is about the mission builders ability to utilize large fields of battle? or problems with the Programming in mission builder.

Large battle fields are ok in Mission builder now, there were issues with Boats and bombing or shooting them. fine now.

Progamming. I am generating mission files from my own Java Code and would like to know all the available units/triggers/targets/etc..

If mission files were XML, I would ask for XSD document.

Thank you.

A .miz file is just a .zip file, named .miz. So unzip the mission and see for yourself what the structure is.

The "mission" file is the most important component; it is a serialized Lua table. There may also be other serialized Lua tables (like warehouses) included with the mission.

There's no documentation, but it's really rather straightforward if you just look at all the components of a .miz file after you unzip it.

If you need a Lua interface in Java, this may help: http://www.keplerproject.org/luajava/index.html

Yep, I know, but my question was to save time... I 'd rather read doc than generating all kind of content with the editor then analyse the generated output. I know it is very easy reverse-engineering but.... doc is much better :smilewink:

Ah seems you may have struck apon something, you may have to create it for others with the same idea as you have. I am sure there are other Technical Minded Individuals who would do the same.
