Freelance044 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I see a lot of people flowing the camera around smoothly and I'm having trouble finding the actual names for these views in the key bindings. What are these smooth camera views called and what's the best key to bind them to? Thanks!
0utLAW Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 A lot of people use TrackIR (http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/) It's a must have IMO. I use the TrackIR Pro kit. Otherwise, it's the keys on your numpad. i7-8700k 3.70mhz|64GB DDR4 G.SKILL Ripjaw V 3200|ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 8G GDDR6|AsRockZ390 Extreme4|2 Samsung 870QVO 1TB, 1 Samsung 860 QVO 1TB, 1 Samsung 860EVO 500GB|Corsair 750D|Corsair H-100i|Corsair AX750|LG 34GN850-B|Acer UT241Y|TM Cougar MFDs| Buddyfox UFC|TM Warthog HOTAS(Modified Spring/Slew Control Stick, Upgraded PCB, Stick Extension)|Saitek Combat Pedals|Corsair Nightsword|Corsair K70|TrackIR5|Custom A-10C Panels|
Sorin Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 I think that the smoothest camera movement is by mouse. If in 3D cockpit view first press Alt-C to change mouse to control camera.
HugePanic Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 i programm the 5th mouse button to LCtrl+C. So i can switch pretty fast between clicking and viewing. This works pretty good.
Maachine Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 (edited) i use facetracker's software that uses my built in laptop camera. it works ok, not nearly as smooth as TrackIR though. it gets me by till i find some money for TrackIR edit: its called facetrackNOIR Edited February 10, 2013 by Maachine
