So I just hooked it up.

Gave up on running 3 monitors... I dunno how anybody does it.. since I run a system that literly runs graphics designs for movies but trying to run this game with 3x cameras(3 monitors settings) runs me to the ground and a whole 9 fps... .......

 

Anyways.... How do you guys setup this ****ed up system??

I have tried and tried.. its REALLY cooll.... I mean for flying the ka its AWSOME.. being able to just LOOK at at target then hit a button on yout throttle stick(or joy I guess ) and lock it is awsome.. but it always gets WIERD... on me. I cant look down.. I cant "zoom" in on anything..

You didn't set it up right if you can't do that.

Default setup only zooms in within the cockpit. You have to change the axis under DCS World control to make it work.

It ain't difficult to set up. If you can get a 3 monitor setup working you should have no problem on setting up a simple TrackIR. BTW, there's plenty of info in these forums, on YouTube and in fact all over the net on how to set it up. The search function opens up a lot of doors.

As for the triple screen issue, please post your hardware config and perhaps someone will have some advice.

I got my TIR5 last week. Well, practice makes perfect. Start with a simple default profile and low sensitivity and work from there, you will then slowly realize what you need to tweak. If there is too much "throw" on the yaw axis (looking around left and right), you'll trim that, if you have problems looking down, you'll fix that up with adding some asymmetric curve on the Pitch axis.

 

It takes time and patience to get it working the way you want it to...
