apollomaker Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Hi Guys --- Wondering if there is a way to specify weapon loadouts for the flyable SU-25T in quick missions? Have searched but no joy. Or is it necessary to go to "full" missions to get this capability? Comments appreciated -- Thanks -- Bob ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sim Box: Asus Maximus, Intel 4790 CPU @ 4.2 GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX-790 + 5GB VRAM, Win7-64, 1 KW supply
bn880 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 AFAIK only by editing the missions and resaving. Loadouts can otherwise only be changed at an allied airfield with engines off and spooled down. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
apollomaker Posted February 20, 2013 Author Posted February 20, 2013 Well, I did find that going to the mission editor/builder and making your own mission is apparently the easiest way to set your own loadouts. The editor is nicely set up to do just that. Thanks for all comments --- if someone finds another way, please post it. BRooDJeRo Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 (edited) Recoding lua files every update is the other option. But i guess that's for when theres nothing else left to explore and in need of an extra hobby in algebra. For singleplayer it's your own game, but multiplayer hosts usualy don't like to heavily modded in technical aircraft technical details beyond official release. The current loadouts are pretty much as in reality, modding loadouts can be seen as cheating and might result in being kicked or banned when you bork the mission. I guess freedom of choice comes with responsebility. Edited February 20, 2013 by BRooDJeRo
