any good videos going over the fundamentals of refueling in the Eagle?

everytime I hook up it throws me out to the jetwash

At this moment it´s bugged. Your F-15 engage autopilot and kick off the tanker, in teory in 1.2.3 this problem is solved.

For the time being, if the mission requires a refueling, get to pre-contact and use altitude stabilized autopilot to take one axis out of the loop. Once you're in position, the transition from you to the "grabbing" autopilot refuel logic is much smoother, and you can successfully take your hand off the stick and pedals and let the code do its thing.

 

Realistic? No. Functional for the purposes of long-mission builds? Yes.

Just tried my first AAR with the F-15. It does work in 1.2.3 single player.
