Greets all. smile.gif This is not a 'Moaner Lisa' type post, more to find out if others are experiencing the same, and how to rectify it if possible. It may just be a simple thing after all.

Ok, I have a two monitor setup, with my pit on a 1920x1200 Samsung Syncmaster T240, and Left MFCD for A-10C on a 1280x1024 monitor to its left. The previous Lua script I made for this setup is intact and works fine, res and aspect ratio included. The 'options' settings within game are exactly the same as previous when working fine (no full screen etc, as well as all graphics settings the same).

However, while it works.....I have a massive FPS drop down to 20-21, when using a 'control' mission I made myself to test FPS, It was previously 45+ even using TGP (which I what I set it up for). The strange thing however is that no matter what is being used on second monitor, the FPS is tied to around 20-21, whether its simply the F-15C radar screen, or the Hog TGP with a lot of action going on. It was previously far higher, and I don't know why it is so low, choppy and crap now?

Hopefully there is a way to fix it, and I'd appreciate any help. If this is 'the way it is' now I'll be very dismayed, as I upgraded my puter for the sole reason of getting good FPS with TGP on the left monitor, which I had....and was happy as larry. I have tried 'Repair DCS World', to no avail.

Not sure if important, but prior to this patch I would have to click left mouse button once at the start of a mission to remove the windows task bar at the bottom of left screen, bit of an inconvenience but didn't mind it. Now there is no need to do this, but the FPS are awful.

Specs are

3770K

Sabretooth Z77

8gb Corsair Platinum 2133mhz

GTX 580

Samsung 840 Pro Series 256gb SSD

Latest WHQL Nvidia drivers.

Any Ideas? Thanks kindly. smile.gif

What happens when you only use one monitor? Is the problem still there when you do?

No BRooDJeRo, one monitor is fine (slightly less FPS than normal, though not catastrophic like with two monitors).

EDIT: It doesn't matter chaps, I've sorted it by removing the Lua scripts I had wrote, then doing a 'DCS World Repair', and putting in new rewritten Lua scripts again. Don't know why this is so, but it works. Fixed! Happy days, great FPS again, and much ado about nothing hehe. Thanks for trying to help anyway Brood, much appreciated. :)
