I was just wondering.. sometimes I forgot to activate the four internal fuel pumps lol. However, the left engine starts up fine, but not the right (causing me to realize the error). But - why do the left engine start at all, shouldn't that one also not start with the fuel pumps disengaged?

Last I checked both engines could be started without either fuel pump on. I not sure if the fuel pumps are modeled. In smaller aircraft the fuel system is gravity feed and the pumps are usually only needed as a backup on a hot day, but always turned on for startup, takeoff and landings.
