Leonski Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Hey, After a clean install of DCS1.2.3. and FC3, A-10C and P-51D. DCS will start and I can do anything in the main screen menu and the other menu's to change settings. But when I want to fly, doesn't matter which module, the game crashes! I tried to reinstall the game but with no success. The 1.2.2 was working fine no problems. SkateZilla Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) Make sure your Windows is up to date. MSVCR100.dll is part of Microsoft Visual C++. So make sure you have all updates for VisualC++ I'm pretty sure ED is using at least the November 2012 Compiler by now. So: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/search.aspx?q=Microsoft+Visual+C%2b%2b Also, 64-Bit Windows would help, as you have 8GB of Ram, but only using maybe 2 GB of it. (32-Bit 4GB limit, 3.5 GB Windows 32-Bit Limit, Boot memory Addresses for CPU and USB, Minus 2GB of VRAM=Usable System Memory.) Leonski Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 yes I know ;) Ok now installed C++2012 and still no go. # -------------- 20130307-205351 -------------- C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\NGModel.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 5BC105D8 01:0000F5D8 # # EAX = 00000000 # EBX = 000004D0 # ECX = 000346F2 # EDX = 00000000 # ESI = 66FD2768 # EDI = 0000000F # CS:EIP = 001B:5BC105D8 # SS:ESP = 0023:0E09F69C EBP = 0000001C # DS = 0023 ES = 0023 FS = 003B GS = 0000 # Flags = 00010202 McDonnell Douglas ✮ F-15C Eagle ✮ // USAF 2012 // Raytheon Trophy HD
SkateZilla Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) Run repair. But i think it's the 32-Bit limit of the OS, Like i said in my first post, 2GB from the 3.5 GB 32-Bit Addresses is being used by your VRAM Alone, now minus all teh extra bootup services of W7Ultimate, You're left with less than 1.4GB of Usable Ram in the 32-Bit Addresses. Which also can cause a Cx00000005 Access Violation, because teh 32-Bit OS Cannot Read the Address of the Memory. milouia Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Hi,I have the same problem. Does anyone have a solution?
hawk4base Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I think it's time for you to upgrade your OS to a 64 bit with 8GB Ram. You have a Windows key so it will work for 32bit and 64 bit version , if you have the retail version you have the 32 and 64 bit dics ,if not just download the 64 bit image and put it on a 4gb usb stick for the install. http://www.w7forums.com/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads-t12325.html
