GodsPrototype Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 When I get in contact with the boom in the F-15C, I have no control over the aircraft anymore. No stick movement whatsoever. I have done aerial refueling in the A-10C and I do have control in that aircraft. I use a HOTAS Warthog if that matters. Any help on this issue? Thanks to anyone in advance!:) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
gabuzomeu Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Iirc this is scripted in flaming cliffs. Details: Asus Z-170E, Intel i5-6600K @ 4.2GHz, 16GB RAM MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G Win 10 Home
Robin_Hood Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Iirc this is scripted in flaming cliffs. Exactly. With the F-15C and A-10A, some kind of autopilot gets control of the airplane as soon as "contact" is established. This is not the case with the Su-33, or of course with the A-10C. Things have been that way since LOMAC 1.0, although FC3 v1.2.3 brought a few welcomed and long-awaited improvements (such as the ability to refuel in a turn). 2nd French Fighter Squadron

F-15's try to ensure that trim is reset and just be ready to turn autopilot off and push down on the stick quick smart. those flying the su-33, if you are flying next to an AI plane doing a refuel just be mindful that after he finishs, he will break right so if you are on #2 #3... be alert.. http://www.s77th.com/misc/Screen_130302_231616.jpg http://www.s77th.com/misc/Screen_130303_005554.jpg [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Join Maddog Simulations DCS World Club & Squadrons for every module
BBall Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Hey guys, Yeah, once on the boom in the Eagle and "A" Hog, the scripted "auto-pilot" takes over and it becomes a rather mundane experience (talking Single Player now). Griff and I have experienced twice now in the F-15C in Multi-player, where after the Client (not the person hosting the mission) has finished refueling, his jet will back off of the boom (while still hearing the sound of being refueled), and he will no longer have any control over his aircraft....he just drifts away. This happened twice to Griff, and he was able to lower/raise the landing gear and/or flaps, but that was the extent of his control over his machine. Has anyone else experienced this? (we have sent the first .trk file to one of our friends on the Beta Test Team, and will be sending the second .trk file today...so hopefully it will be looked at) Have a great day all, BBall
