If you can fly the DCS World + modules, in Mac, you must have the computer features?, I talk about video, graphics RAM etc ... To fly network perfectly, with maximum video resources....

I want to do high resolution videos ... among other things

Money on antivirus updates? Try Microsoft Security Essentials, it works.

Also, OSX is not immune. Check Java vulnerability and how long it took for Apple to fix it. Oracle had it within days, but Apple wanted it's own, and left it open for something like half a year for this reason...

What has kept macs "secure" is that it was not very many people using them, therefore it was not worth spending effort trying to exploit it.

To the specific question though: yes, a Mac is just any other PC. You can rund DCS World on a "Mac". But you cannot run it on OSX, you need Windows.

Microsft do not want more, that's the mess.

It is a question, which had to give the designers of DCS.

When we see the DCS rolling in MAC?

EtherealN, the truth is that every day, many like me feel more rejection for Microsoft platforms.

Probably never, if you mean running on an Apple OS.

If accurate, that's what I mean.

Man, and watched videos and games on Apple, the truth left me surprised.

Believe me, I reach to imagine what it will look the DCS in an Apple OS

Isn't the real problem behind this because Apple doesn't want intercompatibility with hardware and engines originaly designed for Win OS's to run on a Mac?

The reason you can't play DCS on your Mac is due to Apple's policy and their model in how they want to pop the bucks out of yor pocket. You only don't realise it yet.

If i would buy a 1500-2000 euro screen for my PC it would look just as nice as 'for-apple-only-designed' programs on a Mac.

No, that's not the real problem. It seems like you're saying that Apple is at fault because their OS doesn't run DirectX. And their hardware is perfectly compatible, I run DCS apps just fine on my MacBook Pro using Windows 7.

This statement would make sense if you mean Apple's policy of incompatibility with DirectX, which isn't exactly a "policy" or "model".

The reason you can't play DCS on a Mac running MacOSX is that MacOSX doesn't run DirectX, it's as simple as that.

You mean like how most games that do have both Windows and OSX versions have much steeper system requirements on OSX?

Example: my brother first played Starcraft 2 on is MacBook Pro in OSX. It barely worked playably at lowest settings. He bootcamped into windows: then he could play fluidly in high settings. There is a reason why games that have versions for both OSes have different system requirements for each... ;)
