SHKVAL Optics Adjustment Knob for Ka-50

How is this achieved to mod the knob to get various TV screen displays?

 

The Ka-50 flight manual book shows this on page 6-52, 6-55, & 6-56.

The World .pdf manual is a page or two difference, but says the same thing as it not functioning as is in the stock model not modded.

 

I read somewhere in DCS Forums for the Black Shark, there are color mods available. I was chasing down threads contributed by the username "Wild Bill Kelsoe".

If I mod the DCS World program will I still be able to fly on the 104th Phoenix's servers?

 

Will mods screw up later updates?

Talking to myself, again...

 

Found "flanker0ne" 's webpage of downloadable mods:

I chased down his username info.

 

I will ask him via a e-mail direct to him how Migo's mod is accomplished as starters.

was just an idea to the developers or modders to consider. The knob does not function, just a cool graphics design. It is like what manufacturers experiment with pictorial designs and modeling before actually going into producing a new car, etc.
