Phantom88 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 (edited) I Inadvertently "Bricked" my TM Warthog Throttle by uninstalling something on my PC:mad: I've tried to install the Firmware for it using The BootLoader method described on The ThrustMaster site but so far no joy. Since I know many of you have The TM WartHog,Have any of you had to reinstall The FirmWare?Any Tips/Tricks to doing it? Thanks Edited March 16, 2013 by Phantom88 Patrick
Sarge55 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 The boot loader was the only way I heard of. Try going here and check the forums, might find some help. http://www.warthogworld.com/ If you don't mind, what did you do to brick it? 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 10700K OC 5.1GHZ / 500GB SSD & 1TB M:2 & 4TB HDD / MSI Gaming MB / GTX 1080 / 32GB RAM / Win 10 / TrackIR 4 Pro / CH Pedals / TM Warthog
Phantom88 Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 Thanks for your reply Sarge,Ironically I was attempting to fix a problem when I inadvertently "Swiped"out my firmware for my TM-WH-Throttle. I needed to uninstall Microsoft office so I could update it,When my new install failed.M$ Troubleshoot/Help site suggested I use a "Sweeper"Program they supplied,Unfortunately my HOTAS was still plugged in and it cleaned out my Firmware on the throttle. It wouldn't be so bad if The BootLoader method worked but so far on three different PC's No Joy. Oh well back to my Trusty Old X-52 till I jump through all The RMA Hoops! :) LOL Patrick
Headspace Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 A screw fell out of my WH throttle. Just what it says. I saw it rolling around in the hole where the left throttle is. Overturned the throttle and it fell out. It's a black phillips screw, and appears to be the same size as the four on the top of the throttle's panel. Anyone know what could've happened here?

Uhm, I have actually 5 of those on top of the throttle: one in each corner and one below the right throttle lever (left to the L/G WRN Silence).

Same deal though--one of the same kind came out from the inside. Not sure why. Sorry for taking over your thread--figured I'd made my own.
