Help, where we going wrong in the mission editor?

Ok not very good at this so excuse if its a dumb question.

 

My wingy and I took the bacteria mission, simply opened the mission editor to change the skins of the A-10 flight/s.

 

Now when we reach the ip, everything triggers but there is no voice prompting onto the target, we can still contact jtac playboy, but no doubt something has gone haywire with the skin change, any ideas?

 

edit: so go into the loadout screen, have to change planes from say germany to US to get the custom skin, then just save mission, havent done anything else.

 

Callsigns/flights still the same.

Changing it from Germany to US did it I think. If I remember correctly that mission has a few different countries on blue and all of the triggers are setup so that only certain countries get certain messages and each country has their own "target range."

 

Normally what you did should work, but since this mission uses country dependent triggers you are sort of limited to using skins for a particular country.

Had a quick look, there are 3 different flights of A-10's, UK, US, and Belgium.

We tried Boar flight which is 2 A-10 out of Belgium which was changed to US to get the skin loaded, that may well be it.

Will give it a test and report back, thx.

Yes, the problem was created when you changed Boar flight from Belgium to the U.S. faction. As Grimes mentioned, the triggers are setup specifically for certain countries, otherwise everyone would hear other flight's tasking. In Op. Bactria, I had to edit my skins .lua file so that certain countries like Germany, the U.K., and Belgium would all be able to use American style skins. I'm away from my main PC at this time so I can't refer to the exact directory where these edits took place, but its very easy to make it so that non-U.S. factions have access to American skins without breaking the mission.

Habu, after our error was pointed out my wingy (Col.Flanders) looked at it and edited the lua file giving us access to the skin.
