HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eagle Dynamics\XXXX\Keys 3. delete in your documents and settings. saved games.dsc. C:\Users\ME\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Network.cfg & Network.valut 4. Startup dcs world. without moduls. login to Mp. logout and exit the game. 5. Copy the modules Back. 6. Start DCS vanilla. while you press Multiplayer. sloofa Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 thanks, I'll try it today, hope it will works :)
sloofa Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 still the same :( A10 doesn't apear at my multiplayer serial numbers page
Lumax Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 if your dcs a10 doesnt show up on the page http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/myserials.php it most likely because the a10 module is bound to another user account. try to see if you have used another email address on the recover password thingy in multiplayer login.
Marklar Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Lumax it works!!! Thank you! I submitted an official ticket last Friday but still no response from ED support. Really disappointing but at least we have very helpful community. i9 13900K; RTX 4090, 64GB RAM. Reverb G2; VPC MongoosT-50CM3, VPC WarBRD Base with VPC Constellation ALPHA stick, MFG Crosswind V3
Fox 1 Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I am curious if i need to do this. My situation is the very first DCS product i installed was the DVD form of A-10. Then shortly after that World came out and i installed that. I have bought everything on one account only. The only Serials that show up under payments are P-51 and BS2 Upgrade. Wondering if the A-10 Serial would be a problem being it is from the Hard Copy itself. Any suggestions?
sloofa Posted April 7, 2013 Author Posted April 7, 2013 Same problem, but i have all modules in digital form. A10 serial doesn't appear. :(

bumfire Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 (edited) figured it out. my website login username is different to the one i use ingame, but for some reason the a10c module key had been moved to the ingame name instead. Basically ed had decided to create a new account for me using my ingame name, and thats where my a10c key was. It wasnt in myserials page under my proper username, it was in a totally new account. ahwell, its sorted now. Edited May 12, 2013 by bumfire

I am about to chuck my computer out the window because I can't figure out what is going wrong. I tried the steps outlined above but ended up losing all the serials and they won't come back. I checked my windows registry and all the serials are showing there. I also did the left shift when starting multi and re-activated everything. When logging into multi after doing that I still get the invalid serial message

Basically ed had decided to create a new account for me using my ingame name, and thats where my a10c key was. Most likely you used that login originally for A-10C when it was originally released as a stand-alone product. Back then, keys were not "pre-bound" to the e-shop account, but rather were bound to the first account that used it. If you then create another account through the Master Server and use the serial number there, you then bind it to this new account. Later, products purchased through the e-shop became automatically bound to the purchasing account, as preparation for DCS World. So just to clarify: ED didn't "decide" to create a separate account. Rather, it ended up there from when you utilized that serial number on that online account (and those accounts are actually in the same database as the e-ship accounts). When logging into multi after doing that I still get the invalid serial message  Correct method (aside from contacting customer support to ask abouthe serial number) would be to remove one module at a time until the problem no longer manifests. Then you know which serial number it is that is registered to a different account. Most likely it is A-10C if you purchased this when it was new. To find it, simply use the Password retrieval function on the website and enther whichever e-mail adresses you may have used in the creation of that original online account. Actually that is what happened. i have a different username login for the dcs website than I do have for this website. when I noticed the missing dcs a10c key I couldnt understand where it had gone. After thinking things through and nearly pulling teeth in the process I decided to type in bumfire in the dcs website but using the SAME password as my normal dcs login. I never created a dcs website login with that username, ok granted I did use that username when I first went multi on dcs a10c, but until the 1.2.4 patch everything was in the one account, when I updated the key went missing. Me trying to login to the dcs website with username bumfire but with the same pw as my normal account was a fluke on my part as I knew I had never made a dcs website account with that name, but lo and behold their was one, ok reading your post I see how it happened but it really shouldnt of happened, especially since previous to 1.2.4 they were altogether and after the patch the key was missing. I had ABSOLUTELY no idea that keys could be moved between different accounts, another fluke that I came across. Its fixed now so thats the main thing and I will know for future reference if the key or keys decide to go walkabout again. Edited May 14, 2013 by bumfire
FLEXCopMNPD Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 (edited) I had tried that method EtherealN, and the problem I had was that none of my serials were showing up in the module manager. Nothing I did would show the serials. I ended up deleting my entire DCS collection and I am downloading all the new files. Been having issues Dl'ing DCS World. Keep getting a corrupt file somewhere. Since I could not find the proof of purchase for neither BS2 nor P51 I ended up purchasing them again. Hopefully everything will work on the re-install. I plan on taking it one module at a time this time instead of the mass install I did last time. That way I will be able to see which one may give me errors. The A10C was purchased through steam, but I am going to use the DCS download. My serial is actually showing up now for the A10 in the myserial.php, but I hadn't been able to get my Huey back before I deleted everything. Here's hoping everything comes out ok now :) Thanks for the help. Edited May 14, 2013 by FLEXCopMNPD
Chuck Yeager Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I'm experiencing the same problem. Unbinding doesn't seem to do anything, I still have 2 separate accounts. I filed a ticket a week ago, and I have yet to receive an answer from ED. I just filed a new ticket on the other account, hoping this one will catch attention...

Did I understand this right: You have licenses spread on two accounts. You have access to both accounts. Unbinding on one account does not work?
