DCS multiplayer tracks bugged?

Pegazus

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

I was wondering, does the multiplayer tracks are all bugged??? or it is simply my settings?

Is there a way to improve those tracks? we are trying to shoot online aerobatic videos from tracks... but sounds impossible....

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

So Pegazus (my left wingman from the same aerobatic team) has forgot to precise a couple informations:

What we have tried so far:

Have the host's tracks...

Have the wingmen's tracks...

have players quite before the host end the server.

What happens: One third to half of the tracks are what actually happened... the rest show complete fiction and not at all what was going on. for example:

- instead of having 3 P-51s line up for a take off the other 2 planes (other than you) will line up just fine while your own plane will stay on the taxiway (which differed from the actual "flight") then proceed to crash on the grass ahead resulting in only 2 planes out of the three in the air in the track. This is the most common bug.

Looking at the same track but from an other guy, it is again the other two planes doing what they actually did... but again the plane which creates the track will not line up and crash on take off.

This is what happens most often when a track fails.

- During a maneuver I was doing a loop. but instead of completing the loop my plane stopped pulling up (in the track only) going straight down and crash..

- Last one we had. Today's flight Pegazus accidentally hit his prop on my empennage (no crash no visible damage in the flight recording the track) but in the track that "kiss" between the planes was represented as an actual crash, which again differed to the actual events :(...

Any help is appreciated thanks!

We've talked a lot about the "track" accuracy in the past because that's what the testing team was asking for to seek out bugs in our reports... but we were finding that they become a bit edgy after about 5 minutes.

What I may recommend to you guys is that you utilize TACVIEW instead- it isn't as artistic but in many ways actually gives you better opportunity to review your actual formations and the different aspects of the flight... plus you can jump to specific points, rewind... etc.

Just a thought.
