hello guys!

right now im making a p51 online dogfight video...well i try to.

so far i just used the automatic track tool to record my sequenzes with fraps.

but its really time consuming to watch plenty of minutes of those tracks, only to see them go corrupted.and its as well time consuming to pick out the interesting parts.

i would definitely prefer to record directly with fraps while flying online, but the main problem is, that i then have the murder messages recorded as well, which i really want to avoid, as i dont want to make my victims public.

i have unchecked the "subtitles" option, so in the automatic track tool while rewatching my tracks, these messages dont appear, but they still do while i fly.so i would like to know, whether there is a way to get rid off them completely, so that i can record my tracks directly.

thx in advance for any tips!

In your DCS folder under Saved Games ther is a config folder with network.cfg in it. Edit it and run all your recordings when running Multiplayer:

disable_events = true,

Advice:

When watching track (or even playing) press Left Ctrl + Scroll Lock.

It will show you FPS and number of seconds in the upper left corner. You can, that way, note the time of events you want to record and when watching tracks - fast forward to the point in time you want to. It's somewhat easier to organize yourself that way.

Ah, Speed have found this settings also:

To disable the message cheats locally, in Scripts/net/events.lua,

So that should work for singleplayer! Try it out.

That file is in the sim application folder.

Comment out the functions you do not want on the screen.

Make sure you use Notepad++

i already do that, but still its not of use if the track got corrupted, which happens pretty often for me...so recording directly with fraps seems the better option
