But what is more Important? To start an engine or to turn it off, what also Fuelcutoff can do? This is about starting the engine correctly (but only if you manage to twist your view a bit IF you have the hardware for this/ map a workaround) or start it incorrectly but at least you can start it.

The thing is, they did not move the switch because they just wanted to, or they thought it would be cool to change the pit a bit. There was an intention behind this. And instead of complaining about this or shouting "i won't buy it, till it's fixed!" one should honor how they thought 3 steps ahead.

The easiest way to solve this would btw be a left/rightclick switch. Or mousewheel. You can optically let 2 seperate click/scrollactions move the same switch but perform different actions. So maybe leftclicking will use it as starter and right click turns it off.

But instead of thinking about solutions like these some of the members here like to just complain and let the rest of the world take care of the problem :)

And I could shut down the engines of the jet I fly at the end of a flight by pulling the fire handles, but I don't.

The idle stop button isn't a deal breaker for me, not even close. However, throttle management is an important part of operating a helicopter. It's not so much that the starter isn't mapped to the trigger under the collective than that they chose to disable the idle stop function. There isn't any reason why the idle stop can't be functional and the starter mapped to something else. Having to shut down the engine with the fuel valve detracts from an otherwise excellent simulation.

+1 for the correct buttons implemented.

Also, are they planning on allowing us to set the throttle as an axis? I'd like to use my extra axis on my joystick as the throttle but I didn't see it in the AXIS menu for UH-1H.
