flying multiple aircraft within the same mission

Hi,

 

I have CA and FC3.

 

Is it possible to create or edit a mission to allow me to switch between flyable aircraft?

 

I edited one of the FC3 missions to allow me to control ground units, but if I get shot down I want to be able to jump into one of the remaining flyable AC.

don't know if it's possible in single player, but if you start the mission through the multiplayer client then it certainly is.

In single player, after you get shot down in the 1st plane, go to the an external view (F2) of the plane you want to get in and hit RAlt + J.
