xcom Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Hi, Was just wondering if it is possible to enforce Labels.lua in my mission? For example I've edited the Labels.lua to see a remote plane as a dot easier, now is it possible to enforce the settings I use when i open a multiplayer mission? I did try to add the Labels.lua in the miz file - Config\View\-Label.lua -warehouses -options -mission In the mission labels are enforced on. Will this work? Paganus Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 You can enforce labels on or off in the mission but I think the labels.lua is client specific. Everyone would need to have a copy of your labels.lua file.
xcom Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 Are you sure? I checked a few missions that i saw from Dragon and other guys and I saw the config\views folder in there.... Invisibull Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Hi Xcom, If you remember, I used to do that when you visited my server. You need to have the file, labels.lua added to your network.cfg file. (Found not in your DCS folder, but your saved games/dcs/config folder). Like so: integrity_check = { "Config/Weapons", "Scripts/compile.lua", "Config/View/Labels.lua", Remember, everyone must have your same Labels.lua file or you'd just be enforcing whatever labels settings they have by default. i9 9900k - GTX 2080 Ti - MSI Z87 GD65 Mobo - 64GB HyperX Predator RGB DDR4 3200MHz - Win10 64 bit - TM Warthog w FSSB R3 mod - TrackIr 5.
xcom Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 Hey Invisibull, So, there's no way to add the Labels.lua to the mis file? Also, If some client didn't change his labels settings then what is the integrity check do? just checks that they have the file? Thanks. JG14_Smil Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Missions with view files included have been "Prepared' in the ME. The view lua file can cause troubles with FOV of clients though.
Invisibull Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Xcom, I believe the integrity check goes a step further and verifies that the named file not only in existence, but is the same as yours. It's a pain to implement unless you fly with the same people all the time. And, i personally haven't heard of any ability to do it for specific missions. i9 9900k - GTX 2080 Ti - MSI Z87 GD65 Mobo - 64GB HyperX Predator RGB DDR4 3200MHz - Win10 64 bit - TM Warthog w FSSB R3 mod - TrackIr 5.
xcom Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 Ok, Thanks Invisibull. Smil, What do you mean exactly by "prepared in the ME"? How can that be done? some kind of script? And can it be done with the Labels.lua? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] BuddySpike Website | Live Map & Statistics BuddySpike Twitch Channel Buddyspike Discord Buddyspike Facebook
