Upgrading BS2 Question....

I purchased the BS2 Upgrade version since I already had BS1. I installed it and it works fine. Now, after installing DCS 1.2.4 Do I need to download the "Upgrade" version of BS2 or is that only for new installs?

If you did a new install of 1.2.4 instead of autoupdating then you need the Upgrade for BS 2 v1.2.4. The autoupdater, on the other hand, will update all installed modules.

Question on a related note, once you've installed BS2 1.2.3 or 1.2.4, is there any reason to keep BS 1 installed on the system? Is it ok to go to steam and remove the local files for BS1?

 

I'm also wondering the same for LOMAC. I re-installed LOMAC in order to get FC3 1.2.3 beta. Do I need to keep LOMAC or can I go to windows and uninstall it?

Both can be removed without issue. However, if you need to re-install either module, then you will need to reinstall BS1 and/or LOMAC to do so.
