SU25 Reticle Shifting ?

In Ver 1.2.4 the readme says :

 

" Flaming Cliffs 3. Added vertical adjustments to the Su-25 gunsight for bomb, rocket, and missiles delivery. This includes 10 steps down [RALT - H] and 10 steps up [RSHIFT - H]."

 

What is the purpose of this if using a computed solution ? I can understand this if you were doing Manual weapons delivery but it doesn't make sense to me in a computed solution.

It's not the aim point, it's the glass - you must have had it that the aim-point falls above or below the actual display glass, now you can adjust the glass up and down depending on what you are engaging a target with.

I cant get it to work in the SU25 at all. Looking in the controls I dont see any such option or the default keystrokes either

Err will that mean I need to reassign all my custom keyboard commands ?

 

I presume this is the Keyboard.lua that sits in Users/saved games/DCS/Config/Input/SU25/Keyboard

yes... you'll have to reassign the commands... this is because there are new lines for new commands in the input file, but the game still sees your own custom input file... so you need to replace it and tell game to look in Input folder of the game itself, not in Input folder in saved games location
