Nothing worn or dirty and this black paint is not wear. It's just not really well 'shop'd' on top of that button. I never replaced a knob in the cockpit of the jet because it was dirty. Everytime the seat comes out, we had to vacuum the crap that was underneath it. Every jet that has been to the Middle East has dust and dirt in all corners of the pit. I had to pull out my false panels and spray them black because they were so faded. Compare it with all the little illumination areas on knobs and parts in the FC3 version of F15C or try to find another knob/part in this cockpit with any wear. To me it was never intended to be a "worn cockpit". I dont mind a little smudged black paint, but just not like this over the illumination area. Makes it look out of place in this FC3 cockpit.
