The main issue is that most fans of this sim want AFM aircraft with clickable cockpits about 99.9% expect this including me. There is a lot of coding for these modules the systems must be modeled. It takes about a year or so and they are not in large teams. For many developers it may even take longer. It really depends on how good they are and the information they have on their projects. FC3 is ok for MP but we all want advanced aircraft so though its worth the wait we have about another year before we see a advanced fast mover. From ED I am also going to guess the f-18C but teams keep their project a secret until they really get moving. We may get a MIG-21 or a HAWK in the mean time but guess we will have to wait an see. Really in coding you can sit for 16 hours a day/night so team size and the time they put into it are the major factors.
