VTJS17_Fire Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Hi folks, I have a issue with the ramp start procedure. No matter, if I do it with the training mission or with the manual ... I set the battery switch to on and the master caution/ RPM warning lights lights up. With the test/ reset button, I can reset the master caution, but the RPM warning light still lights and the warning tone still pitches up. My collective is on idle position. Need some help with that issue. Thanks in advance. kind regards, Fire Hardware: Intel i5 4670K | Zalman NPS9900MAX | GeIL 16GB @1333MHz | Asrock Z97 Pro4 | Sapphire Radeon R9 380X Nitro | Samsung SSDs 840 series 120GB & 250 GB | Samsung HD204UI 2TB | be quiet! Luzifer Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 When the engine and rotor have zero RPM, RPM is definitely low. What else should it display? You can disable the warning tone with a switch just below the warning lights panel.
VTJS17_Fire Posted May 9, 2013 Author Posted May 9, 2013 Ok, but in the training-videos on youtube, there is no warning tone. Sundowner.pl Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Can't check those videos, as I'm currently at work, but those videos could have been of an earlier beta build. The way it is right now is the correct way for rpm light and tone. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "If a place needs helicopters, it's probably not worth visiting." - Nick Lappos
