msalama Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 There're several pilots here with some stick time in the real Huey. The consensus amongst them seems to be that the FM is basically very good, but some things (e.g. collective sensitivity) still need further adjusting. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
Mnemonic Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=105347 There are some opinions from RL pilots in this thread
TurboHog Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Well I met a guy yesterday who has 12 hours in the Huey and many more in other choppers, including the Chinook. He said the flight model is too susceptible to VRS and he also confirmed the input of left anti-torque pedal during forward flight (As PilotMi8 found out during his trip to the states) But overall the FM is really good...
