chimp Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Hi i`m just having problems with way points that you manually program.I type the numbers into the PVI then when press autopilot it heads to the way points most of the time  but it doesn`t follow the lines is that normal. And does anyone know of videos on how to set way points up and program PVI please that be helpful thank you. :pilotfly:
Maverick_ Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 yes this is normal, your PVI is set to "point" mode, if you want it to follow the lines you need to set it to "Track" mode IIRC Specs: 1tb HDD AMD FX-6300 16gb DDR3 Nvidia GTX-1070 Oculus CV1
seikdel Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Are you saying that it won't follow the route? As in, it will fly to the currently-selected waypoint and then stop? If so, you need to program the waypoint sequence. After you enter your flight plan, set the PVI to OPER. Select waypoint, then press 1, ENT, 2, ENT, 3, ENT... and so on until you've gone through your flight plan. Then, deselect the waypoint button. Reselect it and you should be good to go!
JG14_Smil Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 PVI and ABRIS are two different systems that sometimes work together. You have to change waypoints on both if not following an automatic flight plan. You change selected ABRIS waypoints with the SUSP button. You need to have the AP submode of DT for following exact flight plan lines while in Route mode.
