People always expect fighter jets from ED team, but why no one ever asked for something like 737-300? "Control terrorists forces! As a captain, shoot with your beretta into the attackers!" - here's your 737-300's realization as a fighting jet.

Integrate some commercial aircraft as well, for missions like "transfer soldiers", "transfer cargo with ammunition", "transfer Mr. President", "fight inside a jet!" (I can see in a near future having much more control over a pilot...).

There many ways to use commercial aircraft during war.

As you can see, there plenty of room for commercial aircraft in DCS, so please add it.

Thank you. :)

I don't trust anything that bleeds for five days, and doesn't die

government: gives me money because of coronavirus

me: spends all money on the missing DCS modules

government: ... you dumbo! We won't give you money anymore

me: It's ok. I don't need anything else - I now have the entire DCS collection

my cat: looking at the empty bowl for a while and goes back to sleep

me: it's hard times, Mig, suck it up!

737 Cockpit gunfights with terrorists? That's not really a "fighter jet" as much as it's "Fighting inside a jet".

That would be funny though - to have players trying to fly a route, and then it turns into an FPS suddenly and without warning haha

I think for commercial aviation to be interesting in DCS, more or all of the world has to be the arena and many things would need to be worked out in terms of managing air traffic, providing real world weather, etc.

Clearly, this isn't the focus of DCS, but the same things essential for a civilian commercial component would also make the military aspect of DCS better. Certainly civilian aircraft could be used for supply and troop deployment duties, but give me a nicely modeled Edge 540, sponsorship from Red Bull, and a Citation Ten and I'll be happy.
