I don't see why it wouldn't work, but keep in mind that it's a 16" monitor with a 1366x768 resolution. In other words, really really large pixel pitch. And the reason why I think most people pick up the UM-80's is because the size is just about right for mounting the Thrustmaster MFCD's onto.

I use an Acer 16" 1366x768 monitor for my Cougar MFCDs. The pixel size of each MFCD is 441x441. I also have the RWR between the at 244x244 pixels and the digital clock. everything is very clear and easy to read. I got mine for $40.

Give me sometime to show you my solution that didnt cost me a dime. Sometimes you have to chew on something for awhile and the answer appears.

Well I decided to use the laptop I game off of as my 2nd monitor for my MFD's etc. Using command strips to mount them and adjusted the coordinates as needed this is my result. Now I know this looks like a set up I has before but that was using a desktop and a laptop. This time though this is the laptop only. Also being a piecemeal Alienware my friend tweaked so now is smoking. So I couldn't be more pleased. Didn't cost me any extra money.
