vctpil Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Hi everyone, It's been a long yime I flew the A-10. I bought a new computer and install the last version of DCS world and DCS A-10. I programmed the HOTAS via DCS world, and the center boat switch and the center pinky switch are not programmable. Then, I use TARGET only for those both switches, but the A-10 is becoming crazy : the engines are at the full thrust, and the aircraft is turning on the right. I looked on the forum about the problem, but I didn't find a solution. Any ideas ? Thanks. Milli Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Hi vctpil The thrustmaster warthog is plug and play. The centre position of the boat switch is assigned automatically to whatever it is in the real A-10 i.e force-correlate when MAV is selected and CCD when TGP is selected. The middle position of the pinky is exterior lights off. Do you need to change these assignments? Regards, Milli
vctpil Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 Hi, Thank for the answer. No, for example, the exterior lights does not comme off when the pinky switch is centered. It seems that the simulator does not recognize the center position. Cheers, Vincent IAMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12x 3.7 to 4.8Ghz - 32Go DDR4 3600Mhz - GeForce RTX 3080 - Samsung Odyssey G7 QLED - AIMXY
9.JG27 DavidRed Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 well thats probably got to do with the fact that you installed TARGET. the problem with the software is, that it automatically combines both the throttle and the stick to 1 device....so if everything worked without TARGET, you can be sure that nothing will work with TARGET installed.you will have to set everything up...which can be very very time consuming and annoying with TARGET. my tip, uninstall it and live without it.
vctpil Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Hi, I uninstall TARGET and I clean the registry. The switches are still not working correctly. And I don't know how TARGET could be the source of the problem. Thanks anyway. IAMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12x 3.7 to 4.8Ghz - 32Go DDR4 3600Mhz - GeForce RTX 3080 - Samsung Odyssey G7 QLED - AIMXY

You can be sure that you are wrong. Target changes nothing when you install it. Unless you create, and run, a Target profile that incorporates both the throttle and stick, Target has no effect on your sim or controllers. MTFDarkEagle Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 The WH IS plug-n-play. Either you are doing something wrong, or there is something wrong with the WH. Do this: - Don't run TARGET - Delete the lua files for the WH and let the sim generate it's own (you can find them here: (W7) users/saved games/dcs world/config/input/thrustmaster wh (or whatever it's called).) There should be a couple of lua files in there, delete them. Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
jay43 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 The pinkie switch sets lights as the panel so unless you set the lights accordingly on your panel it won't do anything anyway.
