Presidio Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Hi guys, I´m new here (pit builers section), so this is the thing. I get a Mega 2560 card by Arduino and the problem is I DON´T HAVE IDEA of what i have to do. I´m looking for some tutorial but this are for other stuff like lights, motors and sensors. I just want a USB device for commence to build a generic pit. So if you can help I will be very happy. Regards
Avilator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 There are several people working with Arduino code and DCS. Gadroc is close to releasing code for the Leonardo to talk to Helios, as discussed in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=107156& And near the end of this thread, it is indicated that there are some other efforts working towards the same goal: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=100076 I'm sure that there are other builders on this board that have used Arduinos in their pits. I only respond to that little mechanical voice that says "Terrain! Terrain! Pull Up! Pull Up!" Who can say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow. -Robert Goddard "A hybrid. Presidio Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 Thanks for the quick answer Avilator. I´ll creat a post with my pit once i have learned the Arduino´s code Thx again :smilewink:
Avilator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 No problem. Good luck with your pit!:joystick: I only respond to that little mechanical voice that says "Terrain! Terrain! Pull Up! CyBerkut Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 If you are looking to use the Arduino as an HID joystick controller, there is this: http://hunt.net.nz/users/darran/weblog/15f92/ Be aware, that mode is probably not compatible with doing the other things on that Arduino card (ie Gadroc's EOS project, etc.). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] There's no place like 127.0.0.1
Presidio Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 Thank you men!!! The board is just for the pit. I find a kit with the 2560 + ethernet board + display all this for just 100 bucks. So, I take advandage of this price (very chip at this lands). Thanks again Cy
