dooom Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 The ability to home on adf or Rendevous (sp?) with others in a dogfight would be amazing. Might I ask why this wasn't simulated? We have a similar ability in the shark? dooom Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 Does nobody see the great benefit of the detrola in a multiplayer environment? If i can home in on a squadmate being attacked using then that means i can get to the battle much faster to relieve/assist him. Could this work or am i misunderstanding how it is a benefit? I am imagining the radio tset to continuous transmit on a set frequency and then the wingmen can track the location. IvanK Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I dont think the DETROLA ever had any mutual Air to Air DF capability. Its straight out DF capabilty to a fixed ground station as I understand it.
