BS2 take off Worries

Hello every bodies,

 

Recently, I have install DCS World v 1.2.4. with A10, P51D, BS2, and HU-1 modules, without problem.

 

After, I have install the user file : "DCS Sound compilation V2", of Fedja. Using It, I had discover that I dont hear the HU_1 song in external view. I had think, that it's not correct, probably because this version was not adapted to DCS World 1.2.4 version.

 

So, I have decided to back up the original songs.

 

After that, all aircrafts works correctly except the BS2, who dont want take off, when I make a collectiv action. There is an alert light in the cockpit.

 

Last year I have had the same problem with an incorrect mission, in version 1.2.2 of BS2, and I had resolved it, after put out of DCS World /users/Registry parties, all files, which have had an automatic edition.

 

I have try to make the same yesterday, but without succes.

 

Is there a convenient solution, to repared this problem please, without a complited uninstallation, of the BS2 module or Global DCS World ?

 

I precise my configuration :

 

OS W7 prof 64 bit;

AMD FX 4100 3,6 Ghz ;

RAM 12 Go

Mother Board : MSI 990FXA-GD65 Socket AM3

Hello, make sure your throttles are set to "Auto" to get full power. (I think it is PAGE UP key twice)

both versions of the mod were created under 1.2.4 and should work just fine with it.

In MP I have noticed several times (as have other people I played with) that sometimes the game arbitrarily doesn´t replay certain sounds. I never observed this in SP, but besides that the mod doesn´t touch any of the Huey´s files.

It doesn´t modify any of the sdef-files either - it just replaces the audio files for now. I would be surprised if the modified sound files cause such problems...

 

The problem during takeoff really sounds like you forgot to press "Pg up"... No need to reinstall ;)

For your information. Last evening, I have try all solutions, without succes.

 

So I have decided, a first try who had consist to uninstall BS2 module, without put out the registry files. The result was the same : impossible to take off.

 

After, I have make a second try, who consist in uninstall BS2 module, with also the registry files. Of course, I have lost an activation key.

 

But after, when I have try again, the BS take off correctly.

 

Conclusion, if you read again my first request, uninstallation of différents song files, and back up, have affected the BS2 registry files.

 

If every body has an other explanation, I could take it.

No offense, but you really can´t draw that conclusion based on the data available. I feel compelled to highlight this, since the installation of the mod hasn´t affected DCS in such a way on both my computers where I use/test it with version 1.2.4 nor has anyone else reported this. All you do is copy the files into the folder. DCS is a little enigmatic at times...
