cheap charlie Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 A tad confused here In the pic you can see on the MFD Im flying towards waypoint 2 (around 350deg) But on the hud though, way point 2 is showing at 170deg which is the reverse of my current heading Anybody comment on what Im missing here? Thanks

ralfidude Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I have been seeing this for a WHILE now, but mainly when things are like 80 degrees to the left of you, it should show the box to the far left of the HUD, but instead it shows up to the right. Were the pictures taken the same time. The 170 is a relative angle that you have to turn to get there. If you had just passed it the angle would be correct. If you had just passed it the angle would be correct. those photos are 2 screens taken at the same time of course, one is just an instrument panel. I think its clear that way point 2 is no where near 170 deg of my nose, maybe just 5 or 10. EDIT REPAIR fixed it. Thank goodness for that was flying in reverse.. Edited July 4, 2013 by cheap charlie
