Tempest39 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Hey Guys. I have trolled through the forums in search of an answer but to no avail. Scenario The basic scenario I want to create is as follows: A four-ship A-10C take off at Batumi with clean payload, limited fuel and only guns. They route north and have to neutralize ground defenses at Kobuleti, allowing their ground support vehicles to move in and take the base. Once the base is theirs they land and re arm with weapons refuel to full tanks for the next mission and scramble back to Batumi All this is done under pressure because there are fighters inbound from Tbilisi in the east. Problem Problem I have is if I make them take off with clean payload, whatever option i choose in the re-arm menu, they don't load anything on, just load a clean payload again and say re-arming complete... I have tested it and if I start at Batumi with a certain payload, jettison all the weapons, carry out the mission and re-arm at Kobuleti, they re-arm, but again, just with the weapons I started with... And I want the guys to start clean and have to "Steal" weapons from Kobuleti and high-tail it back to Batumi before the fighters get there... Re-fueling at Kobuleti works fine. (So I have it as a blue base, and I park and stop to get the ground crew working) Any advise or suggestions welcome! Thanks
joey45 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 You you doing it through the radio menu or the Lalt ' combo. Also is the airfield set to your coalition? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Tempest39 Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Hey Joey45 Thanks for the quick reply. The airfield is set to my coalition (Blue in this case) with the red units around it. I do most of the "Testing" at Batumi, so that's definitely my coalition and I get the same problem. I do it through the radio commands (\ then F8 then F2 then any weapons option) when I tried this L Alt ` Combo nothing happened...
Grimes Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 If you are using 1.2.4 and select the "rearm" option from the radio menu it should bring up a payload box where you can select the payload that you want. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Tempest39 Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Ha ha ha, Managed to get it right. The normal radio commands don't work but the Left-Alt + ' button does, as in the button to the left of [ENTER] key and not to the left of [1] Key...Magic! Thanks for the help!
