51GRIZZLY Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 My X45 stick is getting a bit worn out so i was thinking of replacing it with a CH stick ... Question is can i use my X45 throttle together with the CH stick?
192nd_Erdem Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Why not?I'm using my X-52 throttle with my Microsoft FFB2 stick with no problems :)
Pilotasso Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 The X52 throttle is the part that connects to the PC. I know that I can pull the stick off and use a different one, but Im am not sure if the X45 is connected to the PC through the throttle the same way the X52 is. If it is then yes you can use that combo. If not you have to keep both x45 devices lugged in along with the CH. .
169th_Dredd Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Im using my X45 throttle with a MSPrecisionPro2 :) The PCB board is located in the X45's stick, so I just removed it, used a diskette box housing for it, and cut the wires leading to the stick. Customised my lockon settings afterwards. I plan to later modify the sticklater into a helo stick, extend the wires. :) EDIT:Saitek profile will still work as normal, just the stick settings wont work ;) Works a treat. ---= 169th Panthers -Flt Lt.- =--- http://www.169thpanthers.com.au AMD64 S939 3700 | 2GB Corsair DDR500 | 21" CRT ATI Radeon X800Pro | 2x36GB WD Raptors | SB Audigy TIR3 | TM-868 | X52 | CH Pedals | Creative 5.1 Spkrs

Question is can i use my X45 throttle together with the CH stick? I use X52's Throttle and CH Fighterstick.. no problem, you can configure any device from the control panel of lockon.... Robbie.
