I bought A10C on Steam Sale. Ran it couple of times, then realized whole DCS community has moved to DCS world. I downloaded it, uninstalled Steam version of DCS, downloaded A10 module for DCS World but when I try to activate it using the key from Steam, I'm getting the 'Invalid Hardware Code. Make sure the Serial Number used is valid for the product you are trying to activate, generate a new Hardware Code and try again.' error. How do i fix this? Tried running activation program straight from the module folder as an administrator, didn't work. Neither did activation via Starforce website - got the same error.

Thanks, that sort of worked. Now I'm getting an error that says my CD-key is invalid. Weird thing is, I can still view key properties via Starforce website and it does say its an A10 key.

I have this problem exactly, prior to the installation of DCS World, the Steam game ran without problems. Heard DCS World was better but it did not accept my hardware code. Tried the fix and now it claims the serial is invalid. Now I can neither run the Steam nor the DCS version.

Ya same here. I never installed the steam version, so I only ever got the invalid serial number error. Worse part is I can't even play su25t missions (which should be free with DCS world), but it will still ask for a10 activation. I uninstalled and reinstalled the a10 module, with no luck.

It has to be a bad batch of serials generated by steam. But then again you said start force site accepts it.

I guess we have to wait and see.
