If MP runs fine, overheating isn't likely to be an issue.

 

So after exercising a little more patience, I tried to load another mission. As usual it hang during loading. I got annoyed and left the computer. When I returned a few mins later, it had loaded. I'm getting this repeatedly now. It takes a while longer to load but it's getting there now. Strange, but at least I can pay now.

Ok, that sort of explains why there was no crash file, some missions can load slower then others. Anyways, I am glad its working again for you.
