BiBa Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I've set an OH-58D as AFAC and works fine. Even though I've added to it the Type/Action "invisible" & "immortal", it's still getting shot down! Why? Are there arbitrary "Conditions" to be added to make it work? Need a clue or reference to ME. Thanks BiBa...............BigBang WIN 10-64 Pro. BiBa Posted August 13, 2013 Author Posted August 13, 2013 You are setting it invisible and immortal right away at WP 0? Yes. It has no way points, only Orbit position. Or could it just have crashed somehow? It can't just crush somehow, as it's orbiting on 3000 Feet. I've observed sometimes how it was shot on and taking casualties to crash. Paganus Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) Have you tried it with immortal as the 1st line? ...and make sure the value checkbox is marked. Edited August 14, 2013 by Paganus

Attached Track file When I played back your track file, the AFAC helo survived longer than you did ... But you are right. The second time I took over immediately after mission start and switched over to the AFAC helo - he was already under heavy AAA fire from the ground and even took some hits! Then I went to the mission editor and just saved the mission. I suspect the mission file was made under an older version? Nevertheless, doing the same as before with the now freshly saved mission, the AFAC behaved as we would expect and took no fire at all. So, re-save the mission and try again! :pilotfly:

Good Tip. It seems after every new Update, all older missions must be actualized. Edited August 16, 2013 by Biba BiBa...............BigBang WIN 10-64 Pro.
