In this thread,

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=111675

One poster (agrasyuk) mentioned that my LEDWiz on its way to me from Groovy Game Gear is not easy to make work with Helios,

So I wanted to make a thread about driving pit LED indicators, what are people using, and are there any good resources to help a simpleton like me get up and running. I am assuming at this point that Helios is the only option to drive DCS A10C pit indicator lights?

OH, and I may have an LEDWiz for sale :(

Helios has interface for A10 and KA50.

Making ledwiz to work probably can be accomplished with custom software listening to DCS export and feeding the ledwiz software with data. I'm not aware of anyone who did this and wasn't sure if you wanted to tackle the project.

Phidjet led board is off the shelf solution, Helios can interface with it. Cost is very high though IMO.

Arduino + EOS is also a possibility but I've yet to try it. Can only point you to thread wartshell made. Sorry , can't link from mobile , find one of his posts and see signature for link.

Thanks agrasyuk, I guess I jumped the gun a bit on the LEDWiz... I am not a programmer, not even close, that is not an option for me, so I guess it will be a phidgets board!!, what Phidgets board should I be considering, ideally to work out of the box?

(EDIT)

This is my first guess??
