leroy1964 Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I recently bought Huey and installed DCS World (I have been away from these sims for about a year or more). I started playing Huey but there were no 'training' missions and worst of all DCS World didn't pick up I have both Blackshark and A10C installed. Question is how do I get DCS World to recognise DCS BlackShark and A10C?:helpsmilie: Thanks for any help.
ilikepie Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 have downloaded and installed the modules into DCS world? Action After Contemplation
cichlidfan Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 As stated above for the modules. Your standalone installs are not relevant to DCS World. The Huey training is installed from within the sim. There is a button on the Training mission screen to install the training missions. leroy1964 Posted August 24, 2013 Author Posted August 24, 2013 Modules? have downloaded and installed the modules into DCS world? Mate, I don't even know about any modules, could you be a little more specific please? Thank you.
Ramjet Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 You need to download the DCS world modules for the standalone titles that you already own. You can use the serial key from your standalone versions to activate their respective modules in dcs world. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/ IIRC, you can leave the standalone versions, or uninstall them. Your choice. But, you need the equivalent modules for your purchased content to work within dcs world.
cichlidfan Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Just like the Huey module, there are module installers for both A-10C and Black Shark 2. They are downloaded from the same place that you got the Huey from. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/ EDIT: Yeah, what he said. ;) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP!
