Help ! Can't download modules

Hello,

 

I'm pretty much new to DCS, but i am already a huge fan. After learning to play on free dcs world for a week or two i decided to buy black shark 2 dvd version. After installing i couldn't find it in module manager so i've searched the forum and found the info, that i need to download module from dcs site and use serial from my box version but the problem is when i go to any module download it says ELEMENT IS NOT FOUND. Please help ! Thanks in advance ;)

If you are using the Steam version of DCS World you need to download BS2 from Steam. If you are using the standalone version of DCS World (from ED website) you can download and install BS2 from ED website.

Black Shark 2 was never sold in a box. Are you sure you do not just have Black Shark, which is the previous version.

 

Black Shark, or its key, is not compatible with DCS World.

 

EDIT: If you are getting an error from any of ED's download links, please post the exact link and error message so that they can look into the issue.

and i choose black shark 2 and a site appears with a message: "element is not found", or in another cases, proceed to download disappears and nothing happens, and link that is shown then is

As for the box version i'm sure it had to be relased becouse the cover of my box is exactly the same as the one on site, and the previous version was also available at the store

There does seem to be a problem with the servers at the moment. I will see if I can't get someones attention on that.

 

As for the box version of BS, if it looks like this it is not BS2.

It should show up as "Ka-50 Black Shark" in the module manager.

The problem is with the website currently, not with your product.

 

Try using this cached version of the page until ED fixes their site. It works for me.

Hmm, I don't think a box was released in the US. Oh well, if you have it then we just need to solve the download issue as I am guessing that version is pre-DCS World.
