cypher_142 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Hi, I did a fresh install of DCS yesterday and have a G940, however modifier switch i S5 on the stick (Joystick button 7 ingame)has become latched in-game. It was never like this before i would hold it when i wanted to use it than release when i didn't. Has anyone experienced/ resolved this with the latest build of DCS. Thanks in advance. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 20, 2013 ED Team Posted September 20, 2013 Have you checked in windows if the button is sticking ? I have recently had issues with my warthog with a stuck button and I am currently waiting for parts to arrive. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 20, 2013 ED Team Posted September 20, 2013 If it was me I would make a copy of my controls in DCS then delete them and restart the sim and make a new profile just to be sure. If that does not solve the problem just put your copy back in. C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Dudikoff Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I notice that the DCS control configuration can define "switches", too, which I presume are like Mode switches on some controllers (e.g. Saitek, G940, etc.). Is there any way these mode changes on the G940 can be made visible by the game somehow? I don't really like how Logitech Profiler handles combinations of keypresses (compared to e.g. my Saitek joysticks) and found that it works much better if programmed from within the game. i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg. johnnyxtheman Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 hi guys, I can see that for me the profiler is not working any more because my throttle wired ar bad ,which will happen whit yours and I hoop not afcourse ,but it is a common problem in the throttle. so I end up using remapping in game but only to find out that I can't put a modifier on the pinky switch for instance . I read that the device must be in DIRECT X MODE, and I search for that but did not find it . mabe somebody can how to do this if available.
