After participating in some of the recent forums and reading many others complaining about details of the game I googled a little and got a pretty big laugh. Some/maybe many of you started with sims around the same time as I did (1985 for me with Flight sim 2.x) After watching the video below I find it amazing how far it's come and how much we take it for granted.

So you think 10-20 fps makes the game unplayable? watch this link.

I encourage all to check it out just because it's the history of MSF. Other titles happened in the same time frame but the technology and graphics were similar.

Don't want to make this a way back when forum, but anyone remember those two flight simulators on the C64? I just remember they had really cool black boxes...

Games have advanced since then and FPS is more important now I can fly most flight sims on 20 fine but I can feel when it hits 20 and I prefer 30 for smooth gameplay some will say they need 50/60 but 30 is fine for me.
