Mr. Pizza Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 (edited) Is there any way to turn on the fans (environmental) above the left dashboard? Edited September 21, 2013 by Mr. Pizza
Skulleader Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Hello and welcome here, If I've well understand your question, no you can't turn ON the fans. For me it's not important because it's just one gadget and there's many many other elements to fix for this awesome Mi-8... And I think that if the fans are functional we can drop our FPS, or maybe one switch for ON or OFF the fans. Bye, Skull. IonicRipper Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 TBH I would just like it to be gone (puts on flame suite.) It sort of limits the view out of the cockpit. i5 4590 @ 3.77GHz | GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 1TB HDD+500GB HDD | Win10 Home X64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

hootgibson Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 russian did studies back in the 50's and 60's to better their pilots abilities and take some stress away, it proved that in a stressfull combat situation, air blowing over the pilot's face calmed them down and they were much more apt to complete the mission and survive. as for the blue-green paint color on the panels, it proved that on long duration flights, the blue/green cockpit panels were easier and more pleasing to look at rather than grey or black panels. americans just pump air conditioning in, but only on newer helicopters...
