daghef Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Is there any way to force air units to resupply from ground control mode? Tried to command fly-over as near as possible of airport and then hit "replenish ammo" key command but with no luck... the only way to get fully armed A-10C again in the battle is to sacrifice the one with depleted ammo and then will show up on the surface 2 "next" A-10C's ?
rassy7 Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Hmmm ... if I'm understanding the question correctly, I don't think there is a way. AFAIK, there is still no way to command an aircraft to land via the CA module and that is the only way I can think one could rearm. Set the "Option" to "Return to Airbase when out of Ammo/Fuel" or similar. The AC will then return to Base so u don't have to ditch it. Get out of cockpit and set the RTB option, thats all what you can do I guess Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus XG27ACG QHD 180Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X
Zayets Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 AFAIK, there is still no way to command an aircraft to land via the CA module ... I think it is possible to make it land from any unit (not only ground) given the fact that you control that unit. You will have to create a trigger where the intended aircraft is switching the waypoint to the waypoint where it supposed to land (or the one right before landing). You will add a new F10 radio menu and when you chose it then make the aircraft switch to that waypoint. Sounds doable. [sIGPIC]OK[/sIGPIC]

I hadn't considered that - radio menu options specifically for CA. I was fumbling around with the set path options in the map view. I'll have to try that. Thanks.
