Hi, I'm having problem to start Su-25's engines. I turn on electronics, then I try to start engines. Their RPM goes only to 20% and they often get to fire. I have no idea what am I doing wrong.

Thank you

Are the throttles all the way back?

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Like the man quoted says, this does seem like fire caused by having your throttles not set to idle, as explained in the manual:

If you start the engine with the throttles not set to idle, the engine will be flooded with fuel and the engine will be held-up in an intermediate position. An uncontrollable engine temperature rise may also result and start an engine fire.

In such a situation, immediately stop the engine(s) - [RShift-End]. After a full engine shut-down, wait one to five minutes for the engine to cool off, and then try to repeat the startup procedure.

Move them forward and back a few times aswel.

Before start up I -

Move the throttles forward and back a few times while moving the rudder and rotating the stick.
