ShuRugal Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I am unable to apply the latest update, Every time i try, i get "file is in use by another program" I am able to move, or even delete, the named file by hand with no errors about other programs trying to use it, so the message is incorrect. If i do this, the update proceeds to the next file, for which it throws the same error. "file XXXXXXX is used by another program"

ShuRugal Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 right, i think i figured it out. firewall was running in "game mode", which was automatically disallowing installers to run properly. Unfortunately, i only discovered this after uninstaling World when the 1.2.5 installer refused to run with "access denied" on launch.... should be good once the reinstall is done. what a PITA... 1
