Hosting, Some maps work other crash

Recommended Posts

Just got our dedicated working properly. Some maps will load and members have been playing no problem. Others like operation bactria and seperatist aggression cause the game to crash on load. Even a mission I built.

I see NGModel.dll alot in the crash logs. attached are the logs and dumps. Hopefully someone can make sense of it.

Yeah- I think the key factor is in the creation of a NEW .miz file and I'm quite certain the rename has to happen.

We use a simple 1.2.6.a / 1.2.6.b / 1.2.6.c naming system for ours- but remember... don't delete the older versions in the event you want to revert to a previous version of the game as many have been known to do.

As a rule I update EVERY mission with a new name for EVERY patch... and yes, it's a PITA but it helps to rule that issue out.

Some "work..." but then you start to see weird "out of sync" issues, warping, odd AI behavior etc... If you STILL have that issue then you know it's something else and don't have to start the troubleshooting process from scratch.

The way some scripts (assuming you mean your own scripts) responded to changes in 1.2.6 has required some modifications. This is perhaps your issue.

And if you haven't heard of MIST- then you MUST read this:
