Sn0w_Lynx
Just got our dedicated working properly. Some maps will load and members have been playing no problem. Others like operation bactria and seperatist aggression cause the game to crash on load. Even a mission I built. I see NGModel.dll alot in the crash logs. attached are the logs and dumps. Hopefully someone can make sense of it.dcs crash dumps.zip [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Rig: :joystick: :pilotfly: AMD FX8350 8 core @ Stock Clock G. ENO
Have you opened all missions in the editor on the server computer and renamed them under the latest version? Other times functions in the mission script are disabled by dcsw program changes. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. ENO
Yeah- I think the key factor is in the creation of a NEW .miz file and I'm quite certain the rename has to happen. We use a simple 1.2.6.a / 1.2.6.b / 1.2.6.c naming system for ours- but remember... don't delete the older versions in the event you want to revert to a previous version of the game as many have been known to do. Sn0w_Lynx
Well an ok issue has arisen so I'm trying to mitigate that at the moment. The map I made was done in 1.2.5 but another map I made in 1.2.5 runs [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Rig: :joystick: :pilotfly: AMD FX8350 8 core @ Stock Clock G. ENO
As a rule I update EVERY mission with a new name for EVERY patch... and yes, it's a PITA but it helps to rule that issue out. Some "work..." but then you start to see weird "out of sync" issues, warping, odd AI behavior etc... If you STILL have that issue then you know it's something else and don't have to start the troubleshooting process from scratch. Sn0w_Lynx
Worked for a few but same deal with others so I'm assuming it's scripts [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Rig: :joystick: :pilotfly: AMD FX8350 8 core @ Stock Clock G. ENO
Yes, grimes speaks of some changes between 1.2.5 and 6 that required some modifications to MIST- likely something similar in your case as well. Sn0w_Lynx
Never herd of MIST.... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Rig: :joystick: :pilotfly: AMD FX8350 8 core @ Stock Clock G. ENO
The way some scripts (assuming you mean your own scripts) responded to changes in 1.2.6 has required some modifications. This is perhaps your issue. And if you haven't heard of MIST- then you MUST read this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98616 "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret.
