Kula66 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Connect to server on-line, select a/c, record track, fly, get shot down, quit, save, restart by re-recording track ... and it shows you've been shot down twice!!!! Happened on 504 twice today! Thats blown my score :(
S77th-GOYA Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Tip: Never, ever disconnect from the (504) server. :) Yeah, you get a death from leaving the mission. It's been known for a long time. With the (504) server, just stay until the mission is over.
Kula66 Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 Cheers Goya, I just never noticed it before. When you record your mssions you can't restart ... you just exit, save and re-record. But it keeps track of your scorse so you endup getting double losses! 504, went a bit bonkers tonight ... I had a target flying at -38,000ft ... talk about ground penetrating radar!
Gazehound Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 It wont affect your score or your stats if you crash into the ground/get shot down by a sam/gain a loss from exiting mission. Of course, if you want to get full points on the scoreboard for destroying something, you have to land! VVS504 Red Hammers
Kula66 Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 Indeed ... problem is the NAV is so bad in the 15 - I never know where I am. End up flying inverted looking for airfields - and ifs its winter, forget it, you'll never spot them, just eject and walk home!
