Ok, straight answer anyway: Answer 1 it is. Nevada is for training, so I'll place some practice targets and bomb them away. I guess I'll use live ammo though, I love explosions. :)

Actually no intent to troll here. I am instead genuinely interested to see if the people here see Nevada just and only as (more or less) boring training ground or if they allow their phantasy to make more out of it.

It's a terrain in a combat flight simulator... what else am I (are we) going to do with it other than fly and kill s**t and get killed? Does it really need a poll/question on this? I mean really... "I build sand castles all day..." so I'm sorry but this thread for me is just WTF?

I have encountered quite a few people here who seem to be not overly enthusiastic about Nevada ... because they only can think of dropping training ordnance there. That's why I started to wonder ...

 

And the sand castles, well, *shrug*, just tried to be funny :o)

But I am confident that there are people out there that don't shoot up stuff all day. I.e. the aerobatics guys.

For missions I'll just pretend the desert is Afghanistan/Irak whatever.

But I'll use it for training missions too.

 

And of course, waiting for a DCS: Casino DLC :D
